Oshawa, ON – After 28 years at the 209 Bloor Street location, the Osso Oshawa branch is thrilled to be moving on July 14, 2012 to 361 Marwood Drive – just 2.3 KM around the corner from its current location. The company has outgrown its old premise and is making a move into a bigger state of the art facility to better service its customers.
Being customer centric, the new location space will allow Osso to stock more of the products that people want and fulfill larger orders. It will be completely renovated with a new open counter concept, proper racking & material handling equipment, loading docks and plenty of parking for customers.
“This move is a big change for Osso. Our flagship branch has been a mainstay in the Oshawa area for many years,” says Jim Wamsley, General Manager of Osso. “It was difficult to make the decision to move but after so many successful years and an ever growing business it was time.”
The move takes place over the July 14 weekend and business is expected to go on as usual. Osso will be at its current location on July 13 until 5:00 pm and come July 16th, the new branch will be ready for business as usual at 7:00 am at its 361 Marwood Drive location.
Fabio Mazzotta, the Osso Oshawa Branch Manager agrees. “We’ve outgrown our current building, and instead of renovating, we’re creating a brand new spot that is perfect for us to meet our customers’ needs. It’s 21,500 sq ft, which means we’ve got a lot of room for inventory. Plus it’s 40% larger than our current facility giving us more room to grow for the future!”
This is an exciting time for Osso. The employees of the Osso Oshawa location are looking forward to the future as the business continues to strengthen and grow. The new Oshawa location is an investment in the company’s people and its business so that it can continue to deliver the products and services customers expect.
