Sonepar Canada is pleased to announce we have partnered with Electro-Federation Canada (EFC) to launch the Sonepar Canada Electrical Industry Women’s Scholarships.
The scholarships are granted to two female students who have completed at least two years in a Canadian College or University program and are worth $1750 CAD each. Sonepar Canada and Electro-Federation Canada (EFC) are proud to support the next generation of leaders who will power a changing world in the Canadian Electrical industry.
The applicants must be currently enrolled in a related field of study to the electrical industry and must demonstrate an average of 80 per cent or above. The winning candidates will be granted consideration for summer or permanent employment with one of Sonepar Canada’s Operating Companies in Canada.
The EFC Scholarship program provides post-secondary students who are interested in pursuing a career in the Electrical industry, with funding to support their academics. Utilizing the Canadian Scholarship student database, the EFC scholarship program provides viable career choice for students and builds awareness of the great opportunities our industry offers.
The Electrical industry is “Powering a Changing World” in innovative ways through industrial automation, digitization, electrification, IoT, EV systems, and many other emerging technologies, providing a range of exciting career opportunities. University and college students interested in pursuing a career in the Electrical industry are encouraged to participate in the scholarship program to support their academics.
